What happens to your recyclables taken in your Kerbie Box?
All correct materials in the Kerbie box are separated at kerbside into a vehicle called a Stillage Vehicle. This vehicle has compartments for specific recyclable material e.g. one for paper, one for glass etc. All sorted materials are taken in this vehicle to the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), baled and sent for recycling to reprocessors. Over 99.5% of materials collected for recycling through the Kerbie are recycled.
