Recycle Week 2012

Castlereagh Borough Council is encouraging householders to remember to recycle at home and out and about this summer, as part of Recycling Week which runs from 18th – 24th June 2012.

This year the focus is on plastics, particularly plastic bottles, but it is also encourages householders to recycle other materials such as glass, paper or clean foil.

In a bid to increase recycling Castlereagh Borough Council is encouraging all householders to think about what can be diverted from landfill. At home it couldn’t be easier, just put it out in your recycle container on the allocated collection day.

When you are out and about look out for recycling containers, if you can’t find one, pop the item in your bag or car and recycle it when you can; even if it means taking it home.
