EU Services Directive Information Packs

The Provision of Service Regulations 2009 came into effect on 28 December 2009 and incorporated the requirements of the European Union Services Directive in UK law. Castlereagh Borough Council is in the process of implementing on-line processing of the relevant formalities.

The following list provides information on all permits, licences and notifications that are currently available on-line. The Council will be offering additional on-line application services in the near future.

Public Registers

The Environmental Health Service Unit holds the following public registers which are available for inspection:-

• List of registered food establishments
• List of registered hairdressers
• Location and number of cooling towers & evaporative condensers
• Installations regulated by the Council and the NI Environment Agency under Pollution Prevention and Control legislation
