Blog: http://castlereagharts.blogspot.com/

Feel free to post comments on the events or what you would like to see happening in the Borough

Under the umbrella of Castlereagh Borough Council, Castlereagh Arts provide an annual rolling programme of arts events including; concerts, drama performances, poetry and literature events, workshops, and exhibitions. We also help to produce an annual Rock and Pop school every year. This project allows local young people access to professional training, performance opportunities and introduction to the Northern Ireland music industry.

Events, workshops and exhibitions take place in venues throughout the Borough, including various Libraries, Community Centres, the Civic Centre, Belvoir Players Studio and even Forestside Shopping Centre.

Castlereagh Arts also administers a small grants scheme for constituted community groups in the Borough to run their own arts projects and offers two bursary opportunities for local artists. See Grants Page for more information, (grants applications are currently closed).

A committee of local artists and arts enthusiasts advise Castlereagh Arts. The Arts Forum meets monthly and local residents can stand for election every year, we particularly welcome members who are assosciated and/or affiliated with local arts groups.
