Castlereagh Community Services Summer Scheme
Castlereagh Borough Council Community Services run an annual summer scheme. The summer scheme runs for three week duration between July and August. There are 9 summer scheme venues across the borough and they cater for primary school aged children. The venues are as follows:
- Ballybeen
- Ballyoran
- Braniel
- Clonduff
- Cross Community
- Cregagh
- Gilnahirk
- Moneyreagh
- Newtownbreda
- Tullycarnet
Throughout the summer scheme the children get the opportunity to partake in an extensive in centre and out of centre programme. Below are a few of the activities:
In Centre
- Magician
- Arts and crafts
- Team games
- Face painting
- Drama
- Indoor sport
Out of Centre
- Swimming
- Bowling
- Ice Skating
- Adventure playgrounds
- Zoo
- Interactive exhibitions
