Robinson Centre


"Fitness and Fun for all the Family"

Located on Montgomery Road, the Robinson Centre is the flagship leisure facility in Castlereagh with 33 years experience in delivering one of the most extensive programmes of swimming lessons and leisure activities in Northern Ireland.

Complete with four swimming pools - 25 metre competition pool, 20 metre teaching pool, paddling pool and diving pool, squash courts, Breathe Fitness gym, dance studio, sauna and spa facilities, the facility offers a fantastic range of wet and dry activities for adults, children and school groups.

  • Parents/guardians are advised that all children under the age of 8 must be supervised at all times when using the swimming pools. Supervised means that a responsible person over the age of 16 must be in the water at all times with the child.
  • The Robinson Centre operates the following policy with regard to the supervision of children in the swimming pools.
  • A responsible person must accompany children under the age of 4 on a one to one basis.
  • A responsible person must accompany children aged 4-7 on a two to one basis.

    Fun in the pool


    Swimming Classes

    Learn to swim, improve your stroke, or even lifesave with our extensive range of beginner, intermediate and advanced level classes. Classes are available for adults, children and groups.

    Aqua-Fit Aerobics

    Keep your heart and lungs healthy, tone your body and enjoy a splash in the water! Less stress on body joints than land based aerobics. Open to non-swimmers and is ideal for older enthusiasts. Classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

    Hydro-Fit

    A high impact version of aqua-fit with an intense cardio workout which will shape and tone your body while pushing fat burning systems into high gear. Equipment options include mini cuffs and wave webs.

    Breather Fitness at the Robinson Centre



    Breathe Fitness is a state of the art fitness suite available at all Castlereagh Borough Council Leisure Centres.

    With an extensive range of fitness equipment and over 80 classes including Body Pump, Body Balance, Spinning and Step Aerobics, the facility can tailor a programme to enhance your current level of fitness and help you achieve your desired results.
