Operational Services
The Operational Services Unit is managed by Mr Tom Cousins. The Service is responsible for refuse collection, the management of household Recycling Centres and street cleaning, as well as the upkeep of the Borough's landscapes, sports facilities, parks, playing fields and cemetery. The high standards consistently achieved by the Service was recognised in 2007 by the "Ulster in Bloom" competition, which awarded the Council a special award for outstanding floral presentations throughout the borough.
