Castlereagh Arts Forum
The Castlereagh Arts Committee, which led the way in the successful regeneration of arts activity within the area, dissolved its constitution at the AGM in June 2000 in favour of the creation of a new Arts Forum. The Arts forum is presided over by an Executive Committee that currently comprises of a Chairperson, Deputy Chair, three nominated Councillors, the Arts Officer and fourteen elected committee members.
The Executive Committee is elected by a general vote at the AGM, which takes place in June each year. The Committee continue to meet monthly to discuss issues and ideas relating to the current programme of Arts in Castlereagh.
Join the Forum
Castlereagh Borough Council encourages you to become involved with the Castlereagh Arts Forum. As well as opportunities for social gatherings of the arts community, the forum will allow groups, artists and individuals to feed ideas for arts events, festivals and future arts policies into the melting pot that is Castlereagh Arts.
