Community Training

Castlereagh Borough Council has devised a quarterly training calendar that aims to empower, educate and provide community groups and individuals from Castlereagh with the skills, information and advice needed to build, maintain and sustain a vibrant community organisation

This is the first training calendar produced by Castlereagh borough council and we hope to continue to provide training to Castlereagh community groups on a quarterly basis. 

The calendar runs from January to March and includes sessions on mental health awareness, setting up a successful community group, Equality, First Aid, How to write effective tenders, Community Capacity building programme and many more.

All of these sessions have been provided free of charge to the community and voluntary sector in Castlereagh.  Therefore we would like to thank Supporting Communities NI, See-Saw project funded by Big Lottery, CBC Economic development funded by the EU rural development programme, the Equality Commission and Coda for facilitating the sessions.
